Offline

The network drops. The sale goes on.

Pharivo has no degraded mode: counter, receiving and stocktaking run on the computer, without a network, then reconcile on their own when the connection returns. Nobody copies out the day in the evening.

Offline

  • On the computer, what it takes to sell

Products, batches and prices are kept on the computer, and refreshed as soon as the network allows.

  • Every operation kept, then sent

A sale made offline waits on the computer and leaves when the network returns, in order, without duplicates.

  • A state always visible

Online, pending, offline: the computer says it in one word, with the number of operations waiting.

  • Conflicts shown, not hidden

If two computers sold the last box of the same batch, the difference appears in « Synchronisation », with what needs deciding.

  • Receiving and stocktaking too

Deliveries are entered and stock is counted without a network, exactly as online.

  • Measured on a 3G network

Every critical screen is measured on a throttled processor and a 3G network: the counter opens quickly, even on an entry-level computer.

The counter during payment: eight lines in the basket, 32,086 francs to pay, 50,000 received in cash, 17,914 in change.

Three states, three words.

The computer always says where it stands, in the counter bar, without ever interrupting a sale.

  • OnlineEverything is synchronised.
  • OfflineThe sale goes on on this computer.
  • 3 operations pendingThey leave when the network returns.

At the counter

Nothing changes for the cashier.

Offline, the counter keeps the same keys, the same basket and the same payment. Only the indicator at the top of the screen changes its word.

  • The receipt prints, the till adds up.
  • The sale carries its real time, not the time it was sent.
  • When the network returns, nothing to redo.

What needs the network.

  • The first sign-in on a computer: after that, the counter opens and sells without a network.
  • Updates to the catalogue and to regulated prices.
  • Reports and Today, computed on the server with the sales of every computer.

Frequently asked questions

How long can we sell without a network?

The computer keeps operations as long as needed, and sends them as soon as the network returns. The longer the wait, the later other computers see those sales: the indicator reminds you.

Do we need a fast connection?

No. Pharivo is built and measured for an unstable 3G network; a 4G dongle or a phone's hotspot is enough.

The pilot

Three pilot pharmacies, with us, starting now.

Half price for a year, setup included: Pharivo installed on your computer, your catalogue taken over, your cashiers trained at the counter, and what bothers you fixed with you.
